Job Announcement: Director Position Available (Entry Level)

Diverse opportunity for a highly motivated entrepreneur to gain work experience within a well established not-for-profit organization in New Jersey’s 2nd largest municipality, Jersey City. As an assistant to the District Manager, you will gain hands on experience in the fields of Administration, Journalism, Management, Marketing, Public Relations, Event Planning and Urban Studies. General Qualifications:
- Must possess solid verbal and written interpersonal communication skills;
- Must have a four year bachelor's degree;
- General interest in journalism, writing, business administration, event planning, marketing/ advertising, and/ or urban studies/ planning;
- Strong organizational, administrative, and writing skills;
- Must be quick/ eager to learn;
- Must work well under pressure and within tight deadlines;
- Work hours vary, must be available 40+ hour/ week minimum;
- Basic computer skills & knowledge of Microsoft Office products;
- Bilingual speakers are desirable.
